One of my favorite finds this summer is this photograph of  the stoic hunter in his little vest and tie,   with his loyal dog sitting by his side.
One can’t ignore the positioning of  deer’s head peeking through the bushes.

Proud, young man in his stylish, football uniform. Photographed in the 1930′s or so,  and then hand colored.
Not much padding was used in those days, and no face protection with the helmets.

When men,  were really men!
